Position Summary:

Responsible for all administrative functions,including Operations, Finance, Managed Care/Third-PartyContracting, Physician Liaison and other medical and businessmanagement duties as assigned. Oversees management of PhysicianPractice.

Position Requirements:

Formal Education /

Training:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Healthcare Administrationor related field; or equivalent experience.

Workplace Experience:

At least five years in managing physician practice,billing/collections, administrative duties. Demonstrate leadership,managerial ability and good interpersonal skills.

Equipment andSkills Training:

Strong Computer Skills, Communication andPresentation Skills required. Demonstrated ability to self-direct,meet deadline and support Physician Groups.

Physical Environment:

Physician and Clinical setting/environment.

Physical Effort:

Requires the ability to communicate proficiently; oral and written.

Requires prolonged standing and working up to twelve hours ifneeded. Requires the ability to lift minimal amounts (20-25 lbs).

Key Results:

Manages physician Billing and Collections and ensuresaccounts are handled promptly Coordinates financial and budgetreporting for physician practices Oversees HR duties for practicesto include employment, employee relations and terminations underthe direction of Human Resources Responsible for all ManagedCare/Third Party contracts for practices. Participates in PolicyDevelopment for Physician Practices and/or Unit Specific PoliciesResponsible for ensuring all Credential and License are currentalong with support from appropriate hospital departmentsMaintaining office equipment/medical equipment, maintenanceagreements. Responsible for all staff evaluations to be completedand submitted on time (with support of Physicians or designee)according to JCAHO and WMC standards. Respond to patient complaintsin a timely manner. Conduct departmental meetings as needed forhospital updates, policy changes, etc. Work with WMC Administrationon business development of current and/or future PhysicianPractices.
