Responsibilities:
Accurate copying and provision of medical records scanning and filing of medical record images into the electronic medical record Manages the Medical Records Inbox Processes medical record requests originating from both internal and external customers Corrects unprocessed documents in EMR Assists in rotation of answering hospital consult line. Assists Scheduling team with overflow calls as needed. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma Knowledge & Understanding of HIPAA Knowledge & Understanding of Medical Records Rights to Access Policy Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Scan papers in patient charts according to BHC standards. Requires analytical skills, attention to detail, effective organization skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to self-direct with minimal supervision
