Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are looking for a full time Medical Authorization/ Medical verification of benefits specialist to verify information prior to patient appointments. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, a fast typist with a keen eye for accurate detail. Some knowledge of medical insurances a must. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for verifying insurance information, requesting referrals and obtaining authorization by utilizing various insurance websites and medical software.

THE OFFICE WILL BE RELOCATING TO FLEMING ISLAND SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE.

Responsibilities

• Verifying patient eligibility.
• Verify data by utilizing various resources.
• Update existing data if necessary.
• Requesting referrals from primary care facilities as needed. . Obtaining required authorizations if necessary. Skills
• Knowledge of medical insurances a must.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Basic understanding of databases
• Great attention to detail
