$32.6K – $37.4K a year 14 hours ago Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Entry level Full Job Description Cancer Specialists of North Florida is recruiting for an experienced Imaging Authorization Specialist for our busy Central Business Office. This is not a remote position. The Imaging Authorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining, tracking and entering imaging and facility authorizations in PM and EMR systems. Must be able to work effectively and possess excellent customer service skills, including oral and written communications. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Demonstrates an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and clinic/corporation. Monitors and completes incoming orders throughout the work day. Obtains and enters all imaging and facility authorizations in computer systems (PM and EMR). Answers incoming calls and emails from locations. Notates the patient account of any pertinent information relating to imaging and facility authorizations. Needs to be able to effectively and professionally communicate to the location staff and patients of any authorization issues that arise. Reviews medical policies for diagnosis guidelines. All other duties as assigned Full-time position

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of one year of imaging authorization experience, preferably in a medical and/or oncology setting.
