Documentation Specialist:

Collecting medical information from healthcare providers and updating patient medical records. Verifying the accuracy of patient medical information and obtaining missing information. Monitoring diagnoses, treatments, and follow up entries in medical records. Interpreting and assessing medical records and documents to ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare benefit laws, rules, and regulations. Ensuring the content and storage of medical documents comply with federal laws and accreditation standards. Ensuring the accuracy of clinical documentation recordkeeping procedures. Maintenance and filing of all appropriate client, regulatory, etc. records. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance and report to any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately. All other responsibilities as assigned by Director of Client Intake & Reorder Services or other Executive Management.

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

Associate?s degree or equivalent in business or office administration 2+ years of related work experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Prefer experience in sales, sales support, and related product offerings Track record of achievement based on previous performance, awards, evaluations, etc.

Physical Requirements:

In an 8 hour day the employee lifts/carries 10 LBS rarely. In an 8 hour day the employee stands/walks 1 hour. In an 8 hour day the employee sits 7+ hours. In an 8 hour day the employee drives a vehicle rarely.

Travel Requirements:

Percentage of travel expected to be 5% or less on an annual basis
