Authorizations Supervisor SOC Plantation, FL 33317 Fast-growing orthopedic practice currently looking for an Authorization/Pre-certifications Supervisor with a leadership record to join our team in our headquarter office in Plantation. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in medical billing, collections and authorizations.
Responsibilities:
Insurance verification/authorization and supervise team’s effors Request and follow up authorization within appropriate timeframe for routine, urgent and emergent requests. Demonstrating flexibility in satisfying patients demands in a high volume, fast-paced environment Abide by all HIPAA standards Requests submission of appropriate medical records according to established criteria for requested service(s)
Skills:
Best practice knowledge for medical billing and pre-certification. No less than 3 years of experience. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR). Proficient Microsoft Office skills . Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments
