Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Records Technician II to support our behavioral health clinic by managing both consumer and personnel records. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports daily clinic operations through accurate data management, internal audits, and interdepartmental communication. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organize medical and personnel records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies. Review records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation. Conduct monthly audits and prepare records for internal and external reviews. Enter and update consumer data in electronic health systems. Process requests for release of information in accordance with regulations. Train new Records Technicians and uphold departmental standards. Collaborate with site managers and HR on records compliance and documentation. Assist with general administrative tasks including scheduling, data entry, and front desk support. Support health and safety efforts through emergency drills, reporting, and documentation. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-3 years of administrative or records management experience (behavioral health preferred). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EHR systems a plus. Pay will be $18-20/hr
Hours will be Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-5:30PM, Friday 8:30AM-12:30PM This position offers a meaningful opportunity to support quality care through precise records management and collaborative administrative support.
