Implements P&Ps for documenting, storing and retrieving information, processing medical legal documents, insurance data, and correspondence requests. Maintains patient medical records and ensures accurate documentation per requirements. Ensures HIPAA guidelines

Essential Functions:

Adheres to release of information of patient medical records procedures according to hospital and regulatory requirements. Provides assistance to the Medical Records Manager as delegated. Prep/Scan/Index and analyze all discharge records to ensure complete and accurate record is in the system and all required documentation and signatures are present.

Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent preferred Previous experience in information management and psychiatric healthcare facility preferred Valid driver’s license preferred
