In this role you will work at the front desk of our medical office, providing assistance to patients and other visitors. Duties and Responsibilities Greet patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office in a respectful and courteous manner. Explain financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties and collect copays/payments as required. Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary during registration process Utilize our medical office software (EMA) to schedule appointments for our patients Register new patients and update necessary records Maintains HIPAA compliance, ensuring confidentiality of all patient information Ensure the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a medical office setting Friendly and compassionate disposition Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to pass a background check
