Orthodontic Receptionist Durham Orthodontics Madison, AL 35758 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and kind Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations within our clinic and requires a strong understanding of orthodontic/dental office protocols. Job will start August of 2025. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries. Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry. Process billing and assist with insurance verification. Utilize Tops software for patient management and appointment scheduling. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Assist with general office duties, including filing, faxing, and maintaining office supplies. Experience Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Orthodontic processes and terminology is highly desirable. Proficiency in using office software and equipment; experience with Tops is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
