Medical Receptionist Zadie Kenkare Internal Medicine, PLLC 2 Samson Rock Drive, Madison, CT 06443 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks and low-level clinical roles. We are a small, private practice that prides itself on patient relationships. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with the check-in process. Manage phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and provide information regarding care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation review to ensure compliance with health information management standards. Prepare exam rooms and equipment as needed for the physician Assist the physician with simple vitals and point-of-care medical needs for patients in the office Utilize computerized systems, including Epic, for patient management and data entry. Collaborate with the office to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments. Experience Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling and documentation. Experience with phone and scheduling systems Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
