Full Time Medical Receptionist Physical Therapy Professionals 8045 Spyglass Hill Road, Melbourne, FL 32940 Job Description We are looking for a full time receptionist to join our Viera Office team. We are looking for a dependable, energetic, motivated and detail oriented individual to join our reception staff. Shift hours will be 6:15am-3:15pm Monday-Friday. The position includes a benefits package. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides reception services typical for a physical therapy office
• Greets and assists patients in a timely, professional and courteous manner with a willing and helpful attitude; ascertain purpose of visit; and direct patient to appropriate staff if necessary.
• Answers telephones properly, courteously and tactfully dealing with the public, physicians, and outside businesses.
• Determines sense of urgency and assists caller to the best of their ability, routing call to appropriate party for assistance.
• Takes complete and accurate messages for area personnel not available.
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments or follow up visits in person and via telephone.
• Verifies health insurance
• Distributes mail and incoming faxes
• Performs tasks related to facility operations
• Calls insurance companies to follow up on pending claims
