Dental Front Office Coordinator South Florida Periodontics and Implant Solutions Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional administrative support. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in medical billing, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and staff. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling and appointments efficiently using eClinicalWorks or similar software. Handle medical billing and collections, ensuring accurate processing of claims and payments. Maintain patient records, ensuring all files are up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Assist with administrative tasks such as typing correspondence, filing documents, and managing office supplies. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, treatment plans, and insurance inquiries. Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms and assisting during procedures as needed. Ensure a clean and organized office environment that promotes patient comfort. Experience Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with Medicare processes and medical collections is a plus. Proficiency in administrative tasks including filing, typing, and using computerized systems for scheduling and billing. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
