This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality patient care through effective scheduling, documentation, and office management. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling to optimize clinic flow and enhance patient experience. Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Review and process medical collections efficiently to support practice revenue. Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate billing and insurance claims processing. Conduct regular reviews of office systems to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care. Assist in training new staff on office procedures and software systems such as Meditech and Athenahealth. Qualifications Proven experience in medical scheduling and familiarity with healthcare operations. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is essential for this role. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
