Medical Office Receptionist Advance Medical of Naples 720 Goodlette-frank Road North, Naples, FL 34102

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
• Schedule appointments for patients and maintain the appointment calendar
• Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
• Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up to date
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Keep the reception area clean and organized

Skills:

• Experience with medical scheduling (EMR) ECW or similar systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult or upset patients
• Proficient in using front desk equipment such as phones, computers, and printers
• Able to be a strong team player As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
