Our practice is made up of four PhD-level clinical psychologists serving adults, seniors, and adolescent patients. We are looking for a Medical Billing & Front Office Coordinator to join our team. This person will operate as the lead on all critical medical business accounts. The focus of this vital role is to manage all Medical Biling and Front Office Coordination with greeting patients and scheduling. Medical Psychology Practice the relationship with the client by creating a positive working relationship. The ideal candidate comes with experience in account management and strong medical billing. C-level Responsibilities:
This Coordinator will work on Biling on-site will be done once or twice a week must have experience in a medical billing capacity to be considered. Have a strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 guidelines with both commercial and government carriers. This coordinator will verify all Quality Measures are being met during the encounter and billed accordingly on the claim for annual MIPS reporting. This Coordinator must be able to review patient accounts for accuracy and detail oriented. This Coordinator will be aggressive in follow-up with carriers in the appeals process, working all denials, maximizing payments if needed. Managing the front office/desk reception is also vital for customer-patient service to ensure their appointments and intake is attended to on a timely manner. This Coordinator will actively participate during weekly meetings, communicating trends and updates to all carrier regulations to the team. This Coordinator will alert higher management of inconsistencies with carrier payments based on established fee schedules. This Coordinator will be responsible for patient balance AR, contacting patients for collection and other tasks as needed . Provide excellent customer service and greet patients with a positive and helpful attitude. Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, respond to emails and voicemail messages, and provide general information about services and providers to prospective patients Schedule patient appointments, manage provider schedules, provide administrative support to our psychologists, and ensure the efficient operation of the office. Ensure completion of patient intake paperwork (via patient portal or in office) . Scan patient records into electronic health record (EHR) system, general filing, and organization of the practice. Perform additional receptionist duties such as collecting patient payments, e-filing, e-faxing, photocopying, maintain stock of office supplies, and ensure reception area is tidy and welcoming. Assist in verifying patients’ benefits and insurance coverage, and assist with insurance authorization requests for psychological services. Fast learner with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs, Sheets Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Meticulous with excellent attention to detail and follow through. Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently . Previous experience in a medical or mental health office is a plus . Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Will be discussed over the interview process, looking for a motivated candidate that can manage Front Office coordination and medical billing for a Psychology Office. Benefits earned over time on the job including health savings account and paid time off.

Full time Expected hours: 30-35 hours per week, Day shift, Monday -Friday Salary between $30,000 to $40,00.00 annually Required Education High school diploma required (minimum) Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (degree in behavioral health field is a bonus).
