OVERVIEW

We are currently recruiting for a full time Medical Front Office Receptionist. The primary responsibilities for this will be to greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance using Avality and maintain the appearance of the front office, Bi-lingual helpful. Interviews will be conducted on Monday’s , Wednesdays and Thursday’s starting 26th MAY, between 11 am to 3 pm. You must specify your interview availability and commit to it.

APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Two years experience in Medical front office setting. Experience in insurance verification and referrals. Experience in medical office preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred. 40 hours is between our two clinic locations.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be a quick learner and able to work well with others Familiar with various medical software, including E medical records and MS Programs Document all patient related activities in the EMR system Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including composure, diplomacy, and the ability to interact with a diverse patient population. Manage confidential employee information in a professional manner. Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, vendors and other employees. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Effectively time-manage job responsibilities; Organize workflow and documentation. Demonstrate detail-oriented work product.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Charting and clerical work as necessary to prepare for patient appointments. Perform triage with patient phone calls to identify emergent and non-emergent situations. Address/resolve all voicemail calls before leaving clinic at the end of each day. Manage patient flow to ensure proper scheduling and treatment. Scan and import all patient documents including medical records, notes, referrals, labs, etc. Fax or communicate with referring physicians and labs to ensure timely scheduling. Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools. Must present themselves in a professional manner of dress and behavior Perform all duties as assigned by direct Supervisor and Physicians; additional duties as specified by each site
