Medical Office Receptionist Position Available In Manatee, Florida

Medical Office Receptionist Intercoastal Medical Group 11715 Rangeland Parkway, Bradenton, FL 34211 Intercoastal Medical Group, Inc. is seeking professional, customer service oriented Medical Office Receptionists for offices located in Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota. Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience
• Assist with appointment requests
• Answer phone calls; respond to inquiries; transcribe messages or direct calls to the appropriate personnel
• Verify patient insurance information; collect necessary payments; post office visit charges; and perform daily close
• Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
• Proficiency in using any practice management system and computers in general
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Experience with phone systems and handling high call volumes
