Medical Receptionist with Insurance Verification Express Care of Belleview Belleview, FL 34420 We are seeking a full-time dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our busy practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling insurance verification and the front desk operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments. Perform insurance verification and ensure proper co-payments are collected from patients. Collecting past due payments from patient Maintain patient records , ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct documentation reviews to ensure all necessary information is complete and up to date. Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and 10 key typing as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective patient care and service delivery. Qualifications Strong insurance verification skills Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Proficiency in using office systems and software. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
