Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
• Collect patient information, verify insurance coverage, and update patient records
• Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Manage medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Eaglesoft
• Strong knowledge of medical administrative procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with medical scheduling software and phone systems
