Medical Receptionist:
Maintains the reception area and waiting room. These areas should to be tidy at all times. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes., check in, check out and front office coordinator for referrals, and will be responsible for preparation and processing referrals according to health plan benefits and appropriate contracted provider. Ensures CPT and ICD-9 coding are accurate and complete according to AMA’s guidelines and for third party intermediaries. Ensures eligibility is check on time prior to patient arrival to the office. Candidate should have a great personality, positive attitude towards work; being proactive about daily tasks assigned and have prior experience handling insurance verifications, EMR/ PM, scheduling, authorizations, inbound and outbound phone calls, confirming appointments. Bilingual in Spanish is a must and eClinicalWorks medical software knowledge preferable. Start at $7/hr. Office hours M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm If interested please send us your C.V.
