This individual must be multitask oriented, motivated, handle a high volume of patients and patient calls, have EMR and medical records knowledge, check in, check out and scheduling experience. Insurance verification and obtaining referrals is a MUST.

Description:

Functions include customer service, entering patient demographics, scheduling, chart prep, collecting patient’s financial responsibility, posting charges and payments, working knowledge with insurances (authorizations, verification of benefits) scanning, and other assigned duties. Must be a team player and computer literate.

Requirements:

Minimum one year previous experience in a medical practice. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. Working knowledge of computers. The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients and patient calls. The ability to work in a team environment.

Bilingual:

English/Spanish is a plus.
