Hours will vary but equate to 40 hours per week. Hours of operation are as follows: Mon•

8am•6pm
Fri:
8am•5:00pm
Sat:
8am•11:30am (rotating Saturday shift required, 1-2x per month)
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior medical office experience required, preferably in pediatrics Clear understanding of medical terminology. Familiarity with insurance preferred Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
Essential Job Functions:
Processing correspondence. Assisting patients via telephone and in person. Referrals. Answering telephones, screening calls, taking messages and providing information. Maintaining files with referral slips, authorizations and insurance slips. Greeting patients and their family members, checking patients in and out. Verifying insurance eligibility, scheduling appointments and ensuring patient demographics are current.
