Medical Front Desk Associate/Surgery Scheduler:

Tidewater Foot & Ankle Associates is looking for an experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! Our office is located in Palm Harbor, FL . This is a Full time position 5 days a week (approximately 38-40 hours a week). Candidates should have excellent customer service skills to represent our practice. Strong multi-tasking capabilities needed. We value our staff members and strive to provide a positive work environment.

Job duties:

• Greet patients
• Check patients in/out
• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments and surgeries
• Verify insurance benefits/Knowledge of Insurance
• Collect co-payments and other payments
• Input patient information into the computer
• Maintain a clean and organized front office and waiting room
• Other office tasks as needed
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed by patients
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations

Qualification Requirements:

• Experience in a medical front office
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience using EHR, preferably eClinicalWorks Above average compensation offered, and is based on level of experience.
