OnSpot Dermatology is looking to add an experienced PartTime/Full Time Medical Receptionist/Call Center Representative whowill work closely with our patients to create a medical experiencelike no other! OnSpot is an innovative full service mobiledermatology practice that prioritizes convenience and theexperience for our patients. OnSpot delivers full-servicedermatology care, utilizing a 40-foot state of the art mobilemedical vehicles. We are at a different location each day, so thecandidate has to be willing to travel. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic,enjoys patient interaction and exhibits the followingresponsibilities/qualifications below:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a smile and upon their arrival to theirappointment
- Check patients in & out
- Obtain and enteraccurate demographic information
- Gather and input correct andaccurate insurance information for each patient
- Process patientpayments (co-pays, self-pay charges and purchased products)
- Facilitates the patient flow and is aware of delays and capable ofcommunicating with our patients and clinical staff
- Answertelephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner
- Respond to voicemails in a timely manner
- Answer questions andoffer specific information about our mobile medical practice
- Schedule or reschedule appointments for new patients andestablished patients in person and over the telephone
- Ensureour patients are receiving patient care like no other
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical officeenvironment
- Minimum one year front desk dermatology experience
- Experience scheduling patients
- Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills in a customer service environment
- Proficient in use of computers and software programs
- Ability tohandle confidential and sensitive information
- Must be detailedoriented and able to handle multi-tasks
- Outgoing personality,able to interact and communicate with patients daily
- Energeticphone presence
