The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing administrative support and assisting with patient care. Spanish speaking and healthcare experience is a must Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience upon arrival. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems such as Meditech, Eaglesoft, or Athenahealth. Assist with medical billing processes and ensure proper documentation for insurance claims, including Medicare. Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information or directing them to the appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with health information management regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient data. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient care and communication. Requirements Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred. Proficiency in using computerized systems for health information management; familiarity with Meditech, Eaglesoft, or Athenahealth is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
