Medical Receptionist ClearView Imaging Center The Villages, FL 32162 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the front desk operations of our medical facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in medical office management and excellent patient service skills. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Manage medical scheduling, including appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Utilize Advanced MD software for patient management and office administration. Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered. Assist in medical coding and billing processes as needed. Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow within the clinic. Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials. Support office management tasks including inventory management and supply ordering. Requirements Proven experience in a medical or dental clinic setting is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to provide exceptional patient service and maintain professionalism under pressure. Familiarity with medical billing practices is a plus. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
