The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, performing check in and check out duties. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Check in/ check out patients. Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible. Skills Proficiency in medical office software. Experience with AthenaHealth a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures related to hospital settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with managing medical records and understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment. Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable.
