What Your Day Brings:

Answer and manage multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy.
Scle patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
Obtain prior authorizations and precertifications as needed.
Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, ctibles, and co-insurance.
Register patients into the practice’s system, ensuring accurate andplete data entry.
Confirm and coordinate appointments with referring providers.
Communicate clearly and promptly with nursing, reception, and file room staff regarding patient flow.
Follow up on no-shows and ensure documentation is accurately recorded in the HER.
Assist with new patient coordination and provide back-up coverage as needed.
Audit scled appointments to ensure proper physician alignment and testing requirements.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional work environment in accordance with the clinic’s standards.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

High school diploma required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical office or front office setting.
Strong customer service andmunication skills, positive and team oriented.
Familiarity with insurance verification, CPT and ICD-10 coding.
Medical terminology and clinical knowledge highly preferred.
Experience with Centricity or similar EMR systems is a plus.
