Front Desk Receptionist Medical Office Georgia Breast Care 900 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189 Georgia Breast Care, located in Woodstock, Georgia, is a breast surgical oncology practice specializing in high quality, compassionate care for all breast related disorders- including benign breast disease and breast cancer. Our surgeons are board-certified and specialty trained. We pride ourselves in our commitment to the care of our patients, and our mission is screening and early detection of breast cancer and to provide care and treatment in a timely and convenient manner. Our highly trained staff utilize various minimally invasive treatments and techniques in the consultative and surgical processes. As this practice is going through exciting growth, we are looking for dynamic team members to join us that are going to be flexible in their duties to help ensure the needs of the practice are always met. We are looking for people who are comfortable with and excited by change, process improvements, and growth. The incumbent is motivated to create the ideal patient experience receptionist position for full time employment. Our office hours are Monday – Thursday and a half day on Friday. Specific duties include possessing stellar customer service skills, checking in patients, verifying insurance eligibility, entering patient data, working closely with the in house biller, making weekly schedule phone calls, and maintaining acute attention to daily schedule to facilitate proper turnaround time for patient being seen in clinic. The Front Desk staff actively manages patient needs and ensures a seamless end to end scheduling experience. •

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, computer skills, experience with EHR/EMR (Experience in ECW a plus), and knowledge of patient registration, health insurance priority, referral management, etc. We are an extremely busy surgical practice that requires the ability to multi-task, and the ability to perform all tasks with utmost accuracy. The candidate must be a team player, passionate about helping patients, and must be able to ensure the highest level of customer service at all times. •

EXPERIENCE

Front desk experience in healthcare, 1 – 2 years minimum. •

SKILLS:

strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers and payers. •

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcoming and greeting patients upon arrival, checking in patients, accepting co-pays, assuring that patient demographic information is entered correctly and completely, keeping appointments on schedule by notifying clinical staff and patients of any schedule delays. It is required that the successful candidate works well with others in a very busy, fast-paced medical office and patient environment, with a willingness and flexibility to periodically be of assistance for duties that may be outside the scope of job position. A neat and professional appearance is required along with excellent time management skills, understanding that dependability, punctuality and trustworthiness are critical to the day-to-day functionality of the office.
