Job Description
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Medical Front Desk professional to join our single-location practice. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our office, seamlessly managing a variety of responsibilities. Your day will involve handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls, efficiently triaging patient needs, and precisely scheduling appointments to optimize provider calendars. You’ll greet and check in patients with a warm demeanor, accurately verifying their demographic and insurance information, and processing co-pays and balances. This role also involves preparing and maintaining patient charts, managing incoming faxes and messages, and ensuring our waiting area remains pristine. We need someone who can expertly juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting quickly to changing priorities while providing exceptional patient service and collaborating effectively with our clinical team.
salary:
$41,640 – $52,050 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 5

High SchoolResponsibilities Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls, triaging patient needs and directing inquiries efficiently. Greet and check-in patients promptly and courteously, verifying demographic and insurance information with precision. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing provider schedules and minimizing no-shows. Process patient co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances, maintaining accurate financial records. Prepare and organize patient charts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and readily available for providers. Handle incoming faxes, mail, and electronic messages, distributing to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area and front desk space. Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including scanning, filing, and data entry, often simultaneously with other duties. Collaborate effectively with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
