Summary We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team at Happy Smiles Family Dentistry. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for managing appointments and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Your contributions will be vital in helping us maintain our reputation for excellent service. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule and confirm patient appointments while maintaining an organized calendar. Handle insurance verification and assist patients with their inquiries regarding coverage. Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental and other dental software systems. Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office. Requirements Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is strongly preferred. Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
