This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the clinic and enhancing patient experiences. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Process medical billing and coding, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient files and records. Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes. Support the clinic’s administrative functions by filing documents and maintaining organized records. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective patient service. Skills Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for patients. Knowledge of medical billing and coding practices is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus. Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks. Ability to manage files accurately and maintain organized documentation. Experience in handling medical records with attention to detail. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar clinic management software is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
