Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of medical terminology. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
• Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications/Experience:

• Prior experience in a medical office or dermatology clinic is preferred
• Knowledge of various health insurances and insurance referrals is preferred
• Familiarity with medical software such as EMA is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
