30264 JOB SUMMARY The Unit Secretary is responsible for much of the coordination and organization of the Department, serving as liaison between nursing and all other departments. Responsibilities include clerical functions such as answering phones, data entry, maintaining/ordering supplies, maintaining staff assignment forms, maintaining patient charts, retrieving patient info for providers from ECS, EPIC, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- Medical terminology preferred
- Previous secretarial experience preferred .
Epic and ECS experience is a plus . Must have computer experience.
Other Skills Required:
- A strong history of teamwork and a positive attitude required
- Must be adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment
