JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Unit Director, performs indirect patient care tasks, acts as receptionist for the Nursing Unit, maintains and charges supplies and equipment. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the shift the US is assigned to.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Medical terminology required
Experience:
  • A strong history of teamwork is required
  • Previous hospital experience is preferred
Other Skills Required:
  • Must be adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Most be able to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • Must be organized and achieve high level of accuracy in daily work
  • Comply with all company, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies. Assist in achieving stated patient and customer satisfaction goals, and mission initiatives of the organization. Participate and attend departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs as appropriate
