April 16, 2025 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Entry-Level Medical Desk Clerk to join our healthcare team. This position is responsible for providing administrative support, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming front desk experience. Ideal candidates are organized, punctual, and have a passion for helping others in a healthcare setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct calls appropriately
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or balances
  • Enter and update patient information accurately into the system
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and waiting area
  • Assist with filing, faxing, scanning, and other clerical tasks as needed
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Qualifications
  • Must be able to type 30 wpm
  • Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
