Job Description
Dental Receptionist Terrance Ware, DDS, PLLC Flowood, MS 39232 The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office while providing exceptional support to both patients and dental staff. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and knowledge of dental procedures, making it essential for maintaining an efficient workflow within the practice. Thriving general dental practice with two locations looking to hire a front office specialist to join the team. Our team is dedicated to improving the oral health of our community through a combination of preventative care, advanced technology, and personalized attention.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage patient records using dental software. Create and present treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient files and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations. Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance claims and billing questions. Support the dental team by maintaining the doctors schedule. Handle billing inquiries, walk outs, treatment trackers and all front office duties shared with the team. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals with referrals and all correspondence . Manage office supplies inventory and assist in general front office tasks. Administrative Support – Assist in maintaining schedule audits; monitor and take action on credit and patient/insurance AR.
Qualifications:
Preferred experience in medical or dental front office. Familiarity with or ability to learn dental software systems – Open Dental preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and external partners. Familiarity with dental coding and insurance verification processes is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
