The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, particularly in senior care and assisted living environments. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, patient care protocols, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia. Duties Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities for seniors and those with acute care needs. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor patients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel. Assist in the training of new staff members on best practices in patient care. Uphold a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Experience in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology. Background in senior care, particularly with dementia care techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Proficient in managing medical records and documentation processes.
