Front Office Medical Receptionist Charlotte Limb Preservation & Diabetic Foot Center Pineville, NC Practice Overview:

The Charlotte Limb Preservation & Diabetic Foot Center is a highly specialized, newly launched medical practice in Pineville, North Carolina. The practice is focused on the preventative and ongoing treatment of patients with peripheral vascular disease, type II diabetes, and complex wounds of the foot and ankle.

Job Description:

Charlotte Limb Preservation & Diabetic Foot Center is looking for a responsible, proactive and experienced, full-time front desk receptionist. The position is responsible for the day-to-day patient experience and customer service, scheduling, data entry, as well as general administrative functions. The ideal candidate is compassionate, has strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

; Experience in customer service, medical preferred ; Exhibits compassion and ability to work with patients faced with extreme medical conditions ; Excellent communication and relationship management skills ; Strong attention to detail, with ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment ; Comfortable being a self-starter, working in a start-up environment with a desire to be a part of a growing practice

Responsibilities:

; Greets patients and determines their needs. Secures accurate insurance and demographic information from the patient and enters that information in a timely manner. ; Schedules appointments. Gives routine and non-medical instructions in preparation for the patient’s visit to the practice. ; Manages patient flow ensuring a smooth process, with minimal delays/wait times. ; Collects deductibles, coinsurance, balances, copays and point of sale payments for durable medical equipment and over the counter items. ; Checks and works seamlessly with the office manager on AR/AP changes and records updates accordingly ; Ability to learn scheduling, billing and patient record related software ; Responsible for tracking and ordering of office supplies and medical related inventory ; Referral tracking for inbound referred patients and for outgoing referrals ; Closes and balances at end of day or first thing next morning and turns batch sheet and documents over to Office Manager. ; Adheres to practice compliance protocols and privacy standards. ; Performs other duties as required.

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
