Medical Biller/Coder/ Medical Reception Richard D. Adelman MD 7320 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615 Overview We are seeking a part time experienced Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a mature, reliable, detail oriented team player. Candidate must have degree in medical billing and coding or 3 years of experience. A CPC certificate is encouraged, but not required. This position does include some front desk responsibilities.

RESONSIBILITIES

Utilize knowledge of medical billing procedures to submit claims to insurance companies Numerous responsibilities including but not limited to: Patient aging Patient collections posting paper checks / daily mail post patient refunds handling billing calls from patients discussing balances with patients in the office print claims daily review up appointments (for balance, insurance issues) MVA, Workers Comp Lab Corp denials Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Front desk responsibilities Answer phones/make appointments Requirements

• CPC certificate a plus, but not required
• Proven 3 plus years of experience in medical billing, coding, and collection
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of DRG codes
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and insurance guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, and insurance companies
