Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator at Teaneck, NJ, 07666

Contract:

06 months [Possible contract extension]
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Patient check-in and check-out, Activating and assisting with MyChart patient portal, collecting copays and addressing prior balances,
Outreach to patients for follow-up and appointment confirmation, maintaining accurate records and documentation using Epic EMR,
Supporting front-desk operations and contributing to daily workflow, delivering excellent customer service and responding to patient inquiries andmunicating effectively with clinical and administrative team members

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in a healthcare or patient-facing role, proficiency in Epic EMR, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, calm demeanor, ability to problem-solve under pressure, excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills, Friendly and professional with patients and team members and ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred attributes Previous experience in pediatrics or healthcare administration
Demonstrated ability to remainposed and courteous in high-volume situations
Proactive approach to workflow and patient coordination
Proven track record of successful teamwork and adaptability.
