Dental Receptionist Haddon Lake Dental Assoc. Mount Ephraim, NJ 08059 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental clinic. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using Dentrix or similar systems. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Process patient files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Assist with medical billing and insurance verification as needed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office is preferred. Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology. Proficient in using dental software systems, preferably Dentrix. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and record keeping. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Basic knowledge of medical billing processes is a plus.
