This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various front desk responsibilities efficiently. Experience in a dental or medical setting is highly desirable. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using open dental or similar software. Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members. Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before filing or entering into the system. Support the dental team by coordinating with other departments as necessary. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is preferred. Proficient in using front desk software such as Open dental ; experience with 10 key typing is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is advantageous.
