Medical Receptionist 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Randolph, NJ We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Florham Park, NJ. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established healthcare organization by providing essential administrative and patient services. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patient interactions, handling insurance details, and supporting daily operations with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients with check-in and check-out processes while ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Verify insurance information and handle inquiries related to coverage and billing. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for medical professionals. Perform light billing tasks to support financial operations in the clinic. Utilize designated software tools to accurately input and manage medical records. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations in all administrative tasks. Address patient concerns and provide information about clinic procedures or services. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication. Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate staff or departments. Assist in organizing and maintaining the reception area to uphold a well-organized environment. Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar administrative role within the healthcare industry. Proficiency in medical records management and familiarity with healthcare software systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with patients and staff. Knowledge of insurance verification processes and basic billing procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks. Customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
