Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Maintain patient records and update medical charts
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and schedule follow-up appointments
• Assist with medical scheduling and manage appointment reminders
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
