Medical Unit Clerk 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 475 New Hempstead Road, New City, NY 10956 Friedwald Center for Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Full-time Unit Clerk to join our team! Our staff takes pride at working at our facility and we are looking for staff to join and do the same.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday from 8am to 4pm
Responsibilities:
Filing and data entry Typing reports & correspondence as required Assisting with the admissions / discharge process, Relaying vital information to Nursing Staff & Medical Team Maintain medical records as per protocol, assist with filing medical charts as required Provide unit staff with need supplies and forms Inventories unit/office supplies & performs all other related duties Manges phone calls
Requirements:
Be friendly, patient, reliable and customer service focused Be pleasant with a great phone manner & strong computer skills Have the ability to multi-task in high-pressure environment Be experienced working in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility in the same capacity Be knowledgeable in medical terminology Must have high school diploma Apply today!
