We are seeking a dependable, professional Dental Receptionist who is ready to contribute to the long-term success of our practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. This position requires a mature, reliable individual who thrives in a structured and busy setting, enjoys working with people, and is eager to build lasting relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and ensure an organized check-in and check-out process Manage a high volume of phone calls and patient inquiries with professionalism, addressing inquires and providing information about services offered Manage patient scheduling, including booking appointments and confirming upcoming visits. Handle dental coding and collections, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing. Maintain patient records with a high level of confidentiality Foster a calm, organized, and patient-first environment in the reception area Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication within the office. Experience Previous experience in a front desk role within a dental or medical office is preferred. Strong track record of long-term positions in previous roles; we’re looking for someone who values stability and consistency in their career Familiarity with dental scheduling, coding, and collections is highly desirable. Proficiency in using computerized systems for record management, particularly Softdent or similar software. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records. ( By the way, the answer to question 3 is “molar”) Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
