Medical Receptionist JDC Pediatrics 1824 Good Hope Road, Enola, PA 17025 Medical Receptionist Seeking self-motivated compassionate team player to join our independent practice. Job duties include but not limited to greeting patients, updating medical records, entering insurance plans, collecting payments. Job duties performed in a variety of non-direct patient care. Supervision and direction is provided by the physician, billing manager, and practice administrator. Responsibilities Organize and schedule appointments Update medical records Arrange referrals to specialist and obtain insurance authorization Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records Skills Proven working experience as a medical receptionist Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Qualifications
