Our offices are in West Ashley and James Island. Charleston OBGYN seeks an enthusiastic Medical Office Receptionist. If you are an upbeat, friendly, and conscientious team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you! This is a full-time, day position with no holiday, on-call or weekend coverage required. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, with an understanding of insurance benefits and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines being a definite plus.

Key Responsibilities include:

Answering phones and scheduling appointments Greeting patients, verifying demographics, and confirming insurance information. Working with patient payments and other patient-focused reports. The right candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people, and be able to function well both individually and as part of a team. Familiarity with EMRs (preferably Athena) is also a plus. Compensation will be hourly full time and based on experience. Health, Dental, and Supplemental Benefits will be available after a 90-day probationary period with 401K participation available after a year of service.
